1.5 years after I purchased my IRTrackStar RS Ultralight the ACTUAL MANUFACTURER, I mean the guy himself, gets on a Discord call to sort out issues caused by other folk's hardware... I mean, wow...

Item came as described and on time as a gift for someone. I have to say that the overall build quality is outstanding. You can barely see the print lines and cannot feel them at all. The person who received this for their birthday informed me that it has given them “the smoothest head tracking in DCS they had ever experienced”. Well done, guys!

Extremely accurate device
I gave up on headtracking until I discovered this one.

I love the performance, the look of the camera. I didn't but his wireless led head tracker too. Hollywood has spent hours helping me set up, trouble shoot and tune my head tracking. he is a awesome dude.

Actually, this has nothing to do with you but my order has been “returned back to the sender” because the belgian post only gives you 7 days to pay the EXORBITANT 40€ tax on my order, I was away and only could do the payment today, 1 day late… I bet it never gets back to you… this is annoying…..

My shipment to Australia just arrived today and I was excited in anticipation. I've been using a Delan Clip upto now but one of the IR leds failed and whilst I cold have replaced it myself I wanted something a little nicer to go with the A-10C cockpit that I'm building. Well, I have to up my game with the standard of finish on the cockpit now to match the irtrackstar. It's a thing of beauty!
All 3d printed but so detailed in ways that are superfluous to actual function but are the essence of a beautiful product, sooo impressed!

The device itself is awesome & feels well made. The frosting on the LEDs works really well as far as you can turn your head it will track it. The only problem is that for some reason my specific set up it's not working quite right, I get a y axis flip when I turn all the way left/right. Despite this I would still recommend this as it is quality & from all other reports I've seen from other owners it works fine with their opentrack software. I intend to try again when I get a new camera set up. A big shout out to RJsimtech on the discord though, they worked with me trouble shooting the problem until we had exhausted all possible ways to fix my specific problem, this dedication alone is worth me recommending this to others.

If this was only the mount you should buy it. This is a brilliant design from a usability perspective as well as a great visual addition to your simpit. The mount is solid. Once you set it up it is going nowhere. The cam is great. Easy to focus and very fast response time and resolution. Works great on a Mac as well as a PC. The support is amazing never a long wait. Soon this site will have extensive instructions for setting up the Open Source software. I have the headtracker and the cam and man what an improvement from the previous equipment I was using.

Title says it all - its self contained, sexy, lightweight, fits any headset, works better than the stock TrackIR proclip in terms of aspect capture (you can turn your head farther around and TrackIR still sees the TrackStar). Charger is USB C which is super convenient.

Great price, would recommend this to literally anyone who uses any head track application for any PC game.
